PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry)

PIV  is  a  non-intrusive  method  of  flow  visualization,  it  works  via  the  illumination  of particles suspended in the fluid, these particles follow the fluid flow and as such can be used to study the properties of the flow such as its structure.
